ShepherdCircle

Church management for the whole week. Members, attendance, groups, and giving in one place, with QR self check in on Sunday and a finance view pastors can read without asking for a spreadsheet.

ShepherdCircle is a church management app I founded and built for churches in Ghana. It keeps members, families, attendance, groups, and giving in one place, takes offerings by Mobile Money, and tells leaders who hasn't been in lately, so Sunday is spent with people instead of paperwork.

Sunday starts with self check in. An expiring QR code and service code go up on the screen, members scan with the phones they already carry, and the count climbs live while the choir warms up. By the benediction the attendance report is ready. On Monday the accounts team records giving and expenses once, by category, and pastors see the balance for the month. Each department sees only its own part of the money, prayer requests stay with the people they were shared with, and the member directory is opt in.

It is built on Next.js with tRPC and Supabase Postgres, with Auth.js for sign in, Resend for email, and Sentry for errors. Churches start free for up to 50 members. Pro is priced in cedis and billed by card through Paystack, with webhook idempotency and a sync mark per church so a failed or out of order payment event can never quietly change a church's plan. Every flyer, banner, and video carries its own short link, so signups are tracked back to the material that brought the church in.
