About

I build software
people actually use

John Graham

My story

I'm John, a fullstack engineer and product builder in Accra. Since 2018 I have turned ideas into software people actually use, from first versions for new startups to platforms serving thousands of users across several countries.

I got into code out of curiosity. I wanted to know why things worked, then change them. That turned into a career across JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Flutter, React, Vue, and Laravel. What stuck more than any tool was taking something from nothing and making it real: a whiteboard sketch, a Notion doc, a voice note.

Along the way I went from developer to CTO. That taught me the hardest problems in technology are rarely technical. They're about people: what they need, what they'll actually use, and how to build a team that delivers under pressure. I cofounded Lastmal Technologies to solve a real logistics problem in West Africa, and running it taught me more than any framework.

I believe the best software disappears. It's fast, obvious, and out of the way. Whether I'm writing code or leading a team, I optimize for clarity: clear architecture, clear interfaces, clear communication.

Right now I'm building products that compound. They get more valuable over time, keep giving their users something back, and scale without me in the room. If that's the kind of work you're doing, I'd love to talk.
